Growing through new opportunities
鈥淚 never would have imagined I鈥檇 be with the company for nearly three decades!鈥� says sales manager Annalee Rowley. Rowley, of , Pam Nielsen, a business applications manager, along with Kristian Wang, a contract administrator, have decades-long careers at 博亚国际娱乐城 and say they intend to retire here.
When she joined CompHealth as a temp, Rowley says stepping into the workforce after a divorce was tough. She recalls, 鈥淚 can鈥檛 tell you how much I owe to so many people who gave me an opportunity.鈥�
She advanced to full-time work and eventually became a leader. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 definitely where I grew the most,鈥� she recalls. 鈥淚鈥檝e seen a lot of change, but 博亚国际娱乐城 has given me every opportunity to be successful.鈥�
As Wang tells the story, he was in a different line of sales when one of his customers, a 博亚国际娱乐城 sales leader, approached him about changing jobs.
In the 25 years that followed, Wang says his 博亚国际娱乐城 job has been equally evolving and challenging. He responds to requests for proposals from potential clients, does some technical writing, and acts as an interface between sales reps on the government team and the legal team.
鈥淚鈥檓 making sure we鈥檙e meeting all the legal requirements and trying to maximize profit to the company,鈥� he explains. Wang says for him, growth has come in the form of not only improving his writing skills but mastering new people skills, too.
For Nielsen, leaders made all the difference. When she joined 博亚国际娱乐城 nearly four decades ago, she was a filing clerk, then a receptionist, where she taught herself Word and Excel. Five years later, she got her first job in accounts payable. Now, she鈥檚 a manager in business applications.
鈥淚 never thought I would be where I am today,鈥� she says. 鈥淚 had some great leaders who were an example. They took the time to mentor me and saw what I didn鈥檛 see in myself. They really inspired me, pushed me, and helped me develop into my current role.鈥�
Wang volunteers extensively with the Scouts BSA. 博亚国际娱乐城 supports his service and his passion for helping his daughter鈥檚 troop be successful. Being able to use 博亚国际娱乐城鈥檚 paid volunteer time off gives him time to participate.

Looking to the future
Wang doesn't see himself retiring anytime soon.
鈥淲hen I started,鈥� he says, 鈥淚 told them I鈥檇 give them five years. It went a little longer than that.鈥� Retirement? 鈥淚 figure it鈥檚 another 20 years out,鈥� he says.
鈥淭hey鈥檙e never going to get rid of me!鈥� Nielsen says. 鈥淚鈥檒l be this old lady with a walker scooting down the hallway.鈥�
Rowley adds, 鈥淚 turned a temp job into a 30-plus-year career. There鈥檚 never, ever been a thought in my mind to go anywhere else. They鈥檝e taken such good care of me and allowed me to have a wonderful career.鈥�
